Let it Snow?
It's been snowing here and unfortunately the snow has turned to ice. This will keep us from getting out, but luckily we have electricity and internet.
Due to blogger's new picture policy, I'm contemplating moving my blog to wordpress. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. Either way, I'm definitely going to let y'all know.
I'm going to work on a WIP this week. As the week progresses and as I get into it I'll give you guys more information. I'm going to do my best to work through this writer's block and get some work done!
I hope everyone has a great weekend and week ahead.

Snow Fun and Upcoming Reads
I have a feeling that this is going to be a busy week! Even though we've had our first batch of snowfall here at the Ozark National Forest, it really looks beautiful outside. What's funny our sheltie, Lil, does not like snow so it's been creatively interesting to get her to go outside to do her business. I've had to bribe her with extra cookies and/or go outside with her AND I've even thrown one of her toys out to get her to chase after it.
Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't.
On the bright side, when I'm not cleaning up dog puddles on my floor, there are some really great releases this week in the gay romance world. Two of my favorite friends and authors, Shawn Lane and Ava March both have releases this week. Pulling Apart by Shawn Lane was released over the weekend and it's a great quick read. It's the continuation of Noah and Charlie's story from Pulling Away.

Ava March's book His Client, is being released tomorrow by Loose Id.and I can not wait to read it! I love Ava's books and I have a feeling by all of some of the teasers she's given us on her blog that this is going to be an exceptional book. (I love her cover!)

When I'm not reading, I'll be finishing up my book, No Greater Love finished, sent off to my friend Linda for her approval, and submitted. I'm ready to write next book in the Men of Charlestown series. Shiloh and Allen from Yummy Indulgences will be making an appearance in it, and so will Nick and Josh from His Christmas Wish. I'm also going to be guest blogging at Silver Publishing's blog on the 19th of this month, so I hope everyone will stop by and say hello.
It looks like my week is going to be full! I'm tired already:)

I wish he would drop the towel!

I really wish he would drop the towel!
It's been a busy couple of days. I've been trying to stay on top of housework, laundry and everything else I've put off until the last minute.
On the plus side, Merrick and Samuel's book is coming along very nicely. I've gotten 26,000 words written and should be wrapping it up by the end of the weekend. YAY!

I'm debating on what to write next. I had planned on writing my May/December story next, but Samuel's older brother Sidney is driving me crazy. He's a starving artist, who works part time in an art gallery and does other odd jobs to get by.
He's outrageous, bossy and has a Gothic look that he always works to his advantage.
I'm thinking someone conservative will rock his world up. Maybe someone even a little or a lot nerdy even. What do y'all think?
The weather is still horrid here. The snow has never melted and now they are calling for even more snow here tonight. Is it me, or is the weather crazy where you are too? I'm thinking it's from all of his global warming we've had, which is pretty frightening if you think of it.
Lily is finally house trained. *Keep your fingers crossed* I'd forgotten what it's like to have a puppy. Daisiemae had tons of toys, but in the past year she neglected them quite a bit. Since we've had Lily, every night she drags out every one of those toys and plays with them. Now my house looks like a tornado hit it! Puppies really are a lot of fun!

I'm excited to go see my family

Not a whole lot has happened this week. The snow is just beginning to melt away and I'm glad! I'm tired of being cramped up in the house. I'm going to my sister's Friday and I'll be back on Sunday. I'm ready to see my niece and family. I haven't seen them since Christmas, and I'm starting to get a little home sick to see them.
I've been in a romantic mood, so I've been watching romantic movies this week: Notting Hill, Last of the Mohicans, You've got Mail, When Harry met Sally and so on. Every time I put one of these movies in the DVD player, Chris just rolls his eyes. Funny thing is once it starts he becomes as hooked on watching them as I am.
I'm still waiting to see if The Sweet One will have a home. Also, Merrick and Samuel's story is coming along pretty nicely. I'm hoping to have it done sometime next week. I'm ready to get started on the other stories running around in my head!
If I don't see Y'all around, have a great weekend!

Fun in the Snow
Here is a picture of our new baby, Lily. As you can tell she loves the snow.
Well it was supposed to get up to forty-five degrees today, but it didn't happen. The temperature barely reached thirty degrees, so all of the snow is still there. As you can tell by the picture below, my husband has had a great time playing in the snow.
Here is some pictures we've taken around the house. We live across from the Ozark National Forrest and anytime it snows here, it's always breathtaking. I took this picture standing on our front porch.
My husband took this picture down the road from us. Isn't it cool how the ice on the branches look?
I've been very lazy today. I'm blaming this on the weather! Chris goes to work tonight, so I'm hoping to get motivated to do some writing.
They say it's supposed to get up to almost fifty tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it!

Ice Ice Baby
Arkansas weather is unpredictable at best. It's always changing and we never know from one moment to the next what it's going to be like. At the beginning of the week, it was almost seventy degrees out, now there is over six inches of ice and snow on the ground! It definitely keeps everyone on their toes!
Of course, Chris is like a kid when it comes to playing in the snow. He's already out on his four wheeler doing donuts and God know what else. He tried to get me to go with him, but I just watch from the window and smile at wave at him while standing in my toasty warm house while drinking my hot chocolate.
I found a picture of my niece that was taken over a year ago experiencing her first snow. (Isn't that hat hilarious?) Ashley promises more to come. Apparently Snow White is finally gotten old enough to appreciate it. She's at such a fun age right now and I'm really looking forward to seeing her reaction when she is old enough to appreciate snow for the first time.

I felt a little melancholy yesterday while I watched the snow fall. The snow always reminds me of our girl Daisiemae. She loved the snow, so I couldn't resist posting this picture of her enjoying the snow fall around her. I really miss her.
We did take some pictures today and I'll post them soon. It's just a matter of getting Chris to upload them into the computer! I'm anxious for y'all to see our new baby girl, Lily, and see how beautiful it is here when it's all covered in bright snow.
Merrick and Samuel are coming along pretty nicely. Thanks to some sound advice from Shawn, and a little tweaking I need to do, I plan on writing my heart out today. Thank you, Shawn! I have every intention of getting it completed pretty quickly. I'm having a hard time coming up with a title for it, but hopefully something will come to mind soon!
I need to get busy! I've got other heroes that are impatiently waiting in line to have their story written, and I'm itching to get their story told almost as badly as they are!
Y'all have a great weekend!
