Ice Ice Baby
Arkansas weather is unpredictable at best. It's always changing and we never know from one moment to the next what it's going to be like. At the beginning of the week, it was almost seventy degrees out, now there is over six inches of ice and snow on the ground! It definitely keeps everyone on their toes!
Of course, Chris is like a kid when it comes to playing in the snow. He's already out on his four wheeler doing donuts and God know what else. He tried to get me to go with him, but I just watch from the window and smile at wave at him while standing in my toasty warm house while drinking my hot chocolate.
I found a picture of my niece that was taken over a year ago experiencing her first snow. (Isn't that hat hilarious?) Ashley promises more to come. Apparently Snow White is finally gotten old enough to appreciate it. She's at such a fun age right now and I'm really looking forward to seeing her reaction when she is old enough to appreciate snow for the first time.
I felt a little melancholy yesterday while I watched the snow fall. The snow always reminds me of our girl Daisiemae. She loved the snow, so I couldn't resist posting this picture of her enjoying the snow fall around her. I really miss her.
We did take some pictures today and I'll post them soon. It's just a matter of getting Chris to upload them into the computer! I'm anxious for y'all to see our new baby girl, Lily, and see how beautiful it is here when it's all covered in bright snow.
Merrick and Samuel are coming along pretty nicely. Thanks to some sound advice from Shawn, and a little tweaking I need to do, I plan on writing my heart out today. Thank you, Shawn! I have every intention of getting it completed pretty quickly. I'm having a hard time coming up with a title for it, but hopefully something will come to mind soon!
I need to get busy! I've got other heroes that are impatiently waiting in line to have their story written, and I'm itching to get their story told almost as badly as they are!
Y'all have a great weekend!

I've got over eight inches of snow and ice here! I don't blame you for watching Chris from the window. That's where I'd be, too. I am not a fan of the cold.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad your story is coming along. I can't wait to read it.
The picture of Snow White is absolutely adorable. She's one gorgeous girl! I'm looking forward to seeing Lily, so tell Chris to get off that three-wheeler and get to uploading those pictures!
Awww, Snow White is such a little doll. Love the hat!!
ReplyDeleteDaisiemae sure looks like she was enjoying the snow. Lovely picture.
Good luck on completing Merrick and Samuel's story. I'm looking forward to reading it. Keep warm and have a great weekend!
I'm a smile and wave kinda gal, too. I'm so not into freezing my butt off in the snow.
ReplyDeleteSnow White looks adorable in the snow! aww! And I'm looking forward to seeing your new baby girl.
Good luck finishing up Merrick and Samuel!
It's been a pleasure to read about Merrick and Samuel. Samuel is a heartbreaker. How about Reality Bites? :-D
