OMG...it's June!

OMG...how in the world can it be June?

I know you're shocked that I'm back.

To say it's been a while since I've blogged is an understatement. I hate that I've neglected doing it, but it's been a crazy year and I just haven't gotten around to it.

I'll work on doing better. I promise.

On the bright side...I am writing. I've discovered that I'm a slow writer. I wish I could write faster, but it's not me. I'm currently working on a few different books.

I am writing on the next Men of Charlestown book. It's titled Flowers for Him. I hope to have it finished within the next month or so.

I'm also writing a book called Color My World. Right now, it's been dominating my writer's muse, so it may be finished before Flowers for Him.

I'm about to start on my next Circle of Friends and Kissed by an Immortal book. I hope to get them done before winter. Also, I hope to write a Christmas story too...maybe...hopefully.

Have a great day.

Yummy Indulgences is now released!!

Today is a very happy day for me! My book, Yummy Indulgences is not available through extasy books!! I'm so happy to have this book re-released and through such an amazing publishing company.

Here is the blurb for Yummy Indulgences:

Sparks fly when blue collared worker Allen meets Shiloh the baker, but as their relationship becomes serious, will they be able to handle the heat?

What should have been just another day, ended up changing Allen Garner’s life forever. He’d just finished the night shift as a supervisor at the rendering plant, when his sister gives him a frantic call asking him for a favor to meet with the local baker, Shiloh Ballard, and pick out his parent’s fortieth wedding anniversary cake. Reluctantly roped into doing this chore, when all he wants to do is go home and sleep, Allen is surprised and immediately enchanted by the beautiful baker the moment he lays eyes on him.

Shiloh can’t believe a strong, masculine man like Allen would ever be interested in a rainbow flying, petite baker like himself. Immediately sparks fly between them and they are swept up into a whirlwind romance which soon turns into a deep love neither man expected. But there is one problem.  Allen hasn’t revealed his sexuality at work and because of this, their relationship must be kept a secret, causing both men to wonder if their relationship is strong enough to survive living together as a couple out and proud.

Thanks for checking it out. I truly love this book and this series and I am so thrilled about it being released!!

Finished and submitted

I did it! I finished Kissed by Nemesis!! It is the first book I've successfully completed in almost two years. I am so happy I was able to work through my writer's block and thanks to my characters the story went pretty smoothly. They had a good story to tell.

I've sent it off to my editor so now the waiting begins. I hate this part. Ugh!

There will be three more books in the Kissed by an Immortal series. I'm really anxious to write the third book in the series, Kissed by Keres and hope to have it done by the end of the year. I've started the next book in the Men of Charlestown series and there is another book Color My World that I'm currently working on now. I'm also going to try and squeeze a Christmas story in there somewhere too. So if things go the way I plan...by the end of the year I hope to have four more books done.

Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Now, I'm off to stalk my email....ugh.

Edits, edits and more edits...

I hope everyone has had a great week so far. Mine has been good. I just finished the first round of edits for Kissed by Death for eXtasy books and know the second round is coming soon. I'm really excited about this re-release and can't wait to see what kind of cover art they will come up with.

I've been diligently working on the second book in the Kissed by an Immortal series. It's called Kissed by Nemesis and it will be finished within the next couple of weeks. I love these characters and have totally become infatuated with Nemesis. He's definitely been fun to write.

After I finish Kissed by Nemesis, I will be working on the next book in the Men of Charlestown series. It's called Chandler's Hope and I'm anxious to get back to my Charlestown men. eXtasy will also be publishing this series and I'm thrilled my boys have found a good home.

I've also had a WIP that's driving me crazy to be completed. More about that one soon...lol.

At the end of the week, I'll be at my sister's house. Going to be a girls weekend and we're all looking forward to spending time together.

As soon as I get a firm release date for Kissed by Death (I know it's supposed to be next month) and come cover art, I'll definitely share with you.

I also want to let you know I'm changing my email address. My live account has done nothing but give me trouble. It seems to eat my emails and I've been unhappy with it for some time now.

My new email address is:  authorandianderson@gmail.com

I love hearing from you guys, so anytime you want to send me a line, please do!

Have a great week ahead!  *HUGS*

No Greater Love and More News!

Hello Friends!

I'm super excited to announce that my book, No Greater Love, will be re-released May 24th through Mischief Corner Books! I'm absolutely in love with the cover art for it, too! It captures my hero, Eros, perfectly and I couldn't be happier with it. He's beautiful, isn't he?

Not only will it be available in ebook format, it will also be available in paperback too. I'm thrilled about this because I know so many readers aren't crazy about e-books. I know I can't wait to get my greedy hands on my own paperback copy.

The great thing about this re-release is...I finally get to write the second book in the series. Because of the Silver mishap, I refused to write the sequel, so now Deimos will be thrilled to finally get his own HEA, too! But before I get to his story, I have a Christmas story I'm about to start and a current WIP that will hopefully be finished soon, so I can get to the sequel to this book and finally finish my Men of Charlestown series.

After many days of thinking and several hours of talking with my hubby, I think I'm going to stick with my current publishers eXtasy and Siren Bookstrand. Mischief Corner Books will by my main home. I love my friends there and enjoy working with them, plus I know I can trust them, which is a huge thing for me. After being burned so badly with Silver, I'm a little gun-shy about working with others. Silver's situation really did a number on me and my fellow authors, but I'm grateful to have my rights back and even more thankful that I'll be able to get my previous releases back out there and continue my series where I left off with a publisher that I trust.

I'm also happy to announce that The Sweet One is scheduled for re-release in June, A Hold on His Heart in July and hopefully my Men of Charlestown series soon afterward through Mischief Corner books.

No Greater Love is currently available for pre-order.

Happy Weekend!

It's been a while since I've blogged anything. In all honesty, I haven't had the energy to write a lot. I know a lot of you know what's been going on at Silver, so there's no reason why I should get into it. I've had several readers ask me if I'm okay and if I'm going to stay with them, so here's my game plan.

At the moment I'm sticking with them. The owner is trying to get things into order again, so I hope that everything will work out. This has not been an easy decision for me to make. Many of my author friends, whom I greatly respect, have left or are in the process of leaving Silver. I totally understand and respect their decision to leave.  It's not an easy choice to make. Silver was once a great publishing house (hopefully it will be again) to be a part of, but with its uncertain future, it's certainly understandable why people leave. I still don't know if I'm doing the right thing by staying. I have the "Damned if I do...Damned if I don't" feeling about it, so who knows if sticking with them is the right thing to do. I guess only time will tell.

In saying this, I don't know when I'll be continuing my Men of Charlestown, Kissed by an Immortal or Sons of Aphrodite series. I hope to do so soon because the characters are driving me crazy, but I'm waiting it out right now.

Because of the stress of it all, I haven't been able to write like I should. Up until the past few weeks it's been short of a miracle to get any story started at all. I've tried, but I couldn't. Writer's block and and stress from everything took a toll on my creative juices, but thankfully, I've been able to work through it and now I'm almost finished with my book. I don't know where I'm going to submit it yet, but I'm going to branch out to other houses and see where I stand. Wish me luck.

Personally, things have been going pretty good. My niece, Snow White has been excelling in her first year of Kindergarten. My husband and I are doing well and my grandmother has been feeling better lately...so all in all, I can't complain.

Thanks for being patient with me. I'll try and do better at keeping y'all informed of what's going on with me. Have a great weekend!

Angel's Redemption is released!

YAY! The time is here! Angel's Redemption is finally out today! Although, I'm thrilled about it's release, I'm also very nervous about it too. This is by far the longest book I've written, and I've also worked on it, off and on, for the past couple of years. I hope everyone will love Jackson and Elijah as much as I do and that their story puts a smile on my readers faces.

I've also notified all of the winners to my contest, BUT I do have two winners that still need to get in contact with me. The two winners are: Dre and ispringle 1. Please email me at andianderson@live.com with Angel's Redemption in the subject line and I'll send your book to you ASAP!

I also want to thank all of my readers for their kind words and support you've given me these past few months. I really appreciate it. *Hugs*

I have Cover Art!!

I have cover art!!

Reese Dante has finished the cover art for Angel's Redemption. It's the fourth book in my Men of Charlestown series and it's due to be released with Silver Publishing at the end of next month! I think she's captured Jackson and Elijah wonderfully, as well as the tone of the story in general.

Here is the unofficial blurb to Angel's Redemption:

Since Jackson’s partner died, life is one big routine. When he meets his neighbor, Elijah, he’s intrigued by the mysterious man, and his somber world becomes exciting and beautiful.

Elijah needed a fresh start after working in the dark world of pornography. Finding the strength to move away from drug abuse and his despised existence, he moves to Charlestown and discovers a connection with Jackson unlike anything before.

Fear of losing the one man he’s come to rely on keeps Elijah silent even as he grows determined to be a man worthy of Jackson’s love. When Elijah’s secrets are revealed, will Jackson be able to see past his former life and stand proudly beside the man Elijah is today?

Have a great weekend:)

It's been a very good weekend. I found out yesterday my latest submission, A Hold On His Heart, was accepted for publication at Silver Publishing! I'm pretty excited about it and whenever I find out the date they expect to publish it, I'll definitely let everyone know.

I've been working hard on my current WIP. Originally I planned to complete it and submit it as part of Silver Publishing's 'Father's Day' submission call, but once I finished it I decided to hold off on it. After I read through it, I really felt the need to revamp it a little and turn it from a Novella to a full length Novel. I think my characters have more to say than what they did, so I'll be continuing to work on it and hopefully get it finished and submitted soon.

I've also been working on the first round of edits for Angel's Redemption. It is the next book in my Men of Charlestown series and the story revolves around Jackson (who makes his first appearance in Daniel's Dream) and Elijah's story. I've been working on Angel's Redemption on and off for over a year, so I'm both excited and nervous about its release. I'm still not exactly sure what day it will be released, but if I had to guess I would say probably the end of May or beginning of June.

My grandmother has been doing better. She still has days she's not feeling as strong and healthy as she should, so I still worry about her. I guess I probably always will. If my grandfather was still alive they would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary a few days ago. Isn't that amazing? My grandparents had a strong marriage and when my grandfather died, my grandmother had to really pick herself up and learn to live an independent life. There are so many things I admire and love about her and her zest for life is one of those things. The picture above is of my grandparents. It was taken not long after they married. I love this picture because it shows how playful they were, and how much they loved each other.  I thought since I've been talking about them, I would share it with you.

I hope everyone has a happy weekend.

Happy News on St. Patrick's Day

I've received some great news on St. Patrick's Day! The fourth book in the Men of Charlestown series, Angel's Redemption, was accepted by Silver Publishing and the contract is already signed and sealed. I'm not sure when the book will be published yet, but I'll let y'all know as soon as I find out for sure. I'm really happy about this because I've been writing Angel's Redemption on and off for a couple of years now. I hope that everyone who reads it will believe that it's a great addition to the series...we'll have to wait and see:)

I've been spending some quality time with my niece and sister. We've had a great time playing dress up, coloring and watching HOURS of Smurfs. I will miss her when she's gone, but I'm ready to not watch the little annoying blue people for a while.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day and a wonderful weekend:)

Kissed by Death is released today!!

It's been a great week. Today my newest book, Kissed by Death is being released through Silver Publishing and I'm super excited about it! I've also been writing like crazy this week. I submitted the next book in the Men of Charlestown series, Angel's Redemption AND I also submitted a stand alone book called, A Hold on His Heart for their Brainy Guys submission call.  I've already started stalking my email and I'll definitely let y'all know what happens one way or the other.

I'm now working on two books. I'm working on the next Sons of Aphrodite book and the next book in the Men of Charlestown series. I hope to have at least one of them done by the end of March.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! It's sunny and beautiful here in the sticks, we certainly did not have much of a winter here.

Eye Candy and a beautiful smile to get us through the week

So far, it's been a good week. I've been working hard on the next two books in the Men of Charlestown series, and I'm getting pretty excited about both of them. I hope to have them (or at least one) of them done by the end of the month. Plus, I've been anxious about my upcoming release 'No Greater Love' in two weeks and my all day take over of Silver Publishing's facebook page on January 29th.

To celebrate my upcoming release, I thought I might share a little eye candy with you. I love this picture because not only is he very nice to look at, he's got a beautiful smile too.

If you want to check out the official blurb on No Greater Love, here is the link to check it out:

Whew!

I just finished the final edits of my upcoming book, No Greater Love, and I'm both relieved and excited about it. I'm relieved that the edits are o-v-e-r and excited about it being released on January 28. When I saw this picture of my niece, that was taken this past Christmas, I thought it portrayed how I feel about it. LOL!!!!

As you can tell, my niece is a character. She is so funny and has the best sense of humor.  She had asked Santa to bring her a Dippin' Dot maker, but honestly didn't think she'd get one. When her grandfather got her one instead, she immediately pretended to faint from happiness.  (note the tongue sticking out of her mouth...lol)

It's been a fairly busy week for me. I'm still trying to adjust to my husband's new schedule and I'm currently writing on two different books. I'm working on my next Men of Charlestown book and a contemporary book for Silver's 'The Mind is a Sexy Thing' submission call.  So far, everything is going pretty smoothly, and knock on wood, I hope this continues.

Have a great week:)

Happy Labor Day!

Friends,

It's been a good weekend for me. We watched a few rentals and I did some writing. I've been working hard on my next Men of Charlestown book, Angel's Redemption, and my goal is to finish it within the next two weeks. Luckily, my muses have been both very talkative and cooperative so far. Let's hope that continues!

I also took some time to read Shawn Lane's latest book, Can't be His. I've never tried to hide that Shawn is one of my favorite authors. She's such a versatile writer she keeps me, as a reader, always guessing what kind of book she's written this time. She writes great angsty stories, but I also believe she writes wonderful sweet stories too. Since I needed a sexy, romantic story last night, Can't be His was a perfect read for me. I loved it and I hope y'all all check it out at Amber Quill Press.

I hope everyone has a great Labor Day. I plan on cooking out, watching some television and doing a lot of writing!

A few updates and a much needed Vacation

It's been a great week so far. Saturday my first book in print, Men of Charlestown Volume One was released and I'm still super excited about it! I've also completed the first round of edits for my third book in the Men of Charlestown series, Daniel's Dream. I figure the second round of edits will arrive in my inbox any time now. I'm ready to get them done and for Daniel's Dream to be released on June 18th. I really enjoyed writing more about Nick, Josh and Daniel. They are some of my favorite characters and it was fun revisiting them for a while.

I've had several people write and ask me how many books will be in the Men in Charlestown series. As of right now, there will be around eight of them with the last book being Daniel's. I figure since he started it all with his Christmas wish, he deserves his happy ending too!

I'm currently doing last minute pre-edits for No Greater Love (due to released in January) and my current work in process, Angel's Redemption, is going going fast and smooth. I love it when that happens:)

My husband is off of work this week. He's taking a well-deserved vacation and we've been hanging out around the house, catching up on movies we've missed and we plan on having one day where we just get in the car and see where it takes us. I think we'll probably go into Oklahoma and maybe hit a casino or two. :)

So, if you don't see me around very much this week, you know why. (It's my husband's fault) Y'all have a great week!

I had to share my exciting news!

I had to let my friends here know that I just found out from my editor and the amazing Cover Artist, Reese Dante, that Volume One of my Men of Charlestown series in print will be released this Saturday through Silver Publishing! YAY! I'm so excited!

Tea Parties and Gorgeous Cover Art:)

Hey y'all:)

For the past two days my husband and I have been visiting my family in Little Rock. Of course, we had at least a thousand tea parties with my niece complete with lots of snuggles and kisses from her too!

When we arrived home, the amazing cover artist, Reese Dante, had this little jewel waiting for me in my inbox! Here is the official cover for my next book, Men of Charlestown 3: Daniel's Dream. It's going to be released Father's Day weekend and I can't wait!

My goal this week is to finish No Greater Love and get a lot written on Angel's Redemption, will be the 4th book in the MIC series.

I hope y'all have a great weekend:)

Men of Charlestown

I recently got the news that Silver Publishing decided that both His Christmas Wish and Yummy Indulgences were chosen to be in print. Needless to say, I am extremely excited about my first book going to print in the near future. I honestly never expected to have any of my books becoming a paperback, so this is like a dream come true for me.

Silver's Art Director, Reese Dante, is an amazing artist and so much fun to work with. When Reese sent me the finished product for it, I was thrilled to see how it turned out, and I had to share it with my friends.

What do y'all think of it? Isn't it beautiful?

I've been working hard to meet my Saturday deadline for my Father's Day submission for Silver Publishing and so far it's coming along great. I'm continuing Daniel, Nick and Josh's story from His Christmas Wish, and it's been a lot of fun revisiting these characters again.

I'll keep y'all informed of my progress.

Have a great night:)

Back from OZ

Hey y'all:)

I'm sorry I've been away so long. I've had some interesting things happen to me and my family these past couple of months and it's taking some time to get back on track.

My sister has been fighting pneumonia for over the past month. At one point she had to be hospitalized, but now she's doing better and was given the red light to go back to work as long as she doesn't overdo it. This is hard for her, because of my almost four year old niece and well...my sister doesn't know what the word "Relax" really means. That just simply isn't in her vocabulary. Hopefully, after all of this, she'll learn to slow down a little and not push herself so hard.

My grandmother is practically blind now. She's been taking treatments to try to help her eyesight, but it hasn't worked. She also insisting on NOT moving in with my husband and I, so we're still fighting to get her out here with us. Whether she will or not remains to be seen. Otherwise, she's still strong and wonderful and she amazes me everyday.

I don't know if y'all have heard about the tornadoes that hit Arkansas. We lucked out that they didn't hit our area, but it did do some damage to relatives of ours. We've been trying to help out, and the community has been great. Strangely, up until this year I've never worried about tornadoes, but after all of the damage they've done this year, my opinion has changed.

On a much happier note: Silver Publishing has decided to put my first two books in the Men of Charlestown series in print! YAY! Reese Dante has worked hard on developing an amazing cover for it and I can't wait to show y'all when I get the green light. I don't know when it will be out in print yet, but as soon as I do, I'll let y'all know.

I hope everyone has been doing great! Thanks to everyone who has dropped me a line and has been concerned about me. I have wonderful and caring friends. Thank you.
