Snow, snow and more snow

Whew! It's been a busy couple of days. We spent the weekend with my sister and had a great time.

I think I might be the only household in America that didn't watch the Superbowl. Chris went to work and I decided to have a night of listening to my favorite music while I wrote. I have just over 20,000 words written so far. I plan on writing more tonight. It's still my goal to get Merrick and Samuel's story done and submitted this week. I've really enjoyed writing their story and surprisingly, Sidney, who is Samuel's brother has intrigued me. He just might end up with his own story to tell. I hope so, because he really is a fun character.

I still haven't heard any news on the Sweet One and I admit I'm getting anxious. I'll let y'all know one way or the other what happens. If TEB doesn't accept it, I'll eventually have a home for it. I'm anxious for all of you to read it. I enjoyed writing it, and I loved Noah and Micah and I'm hoping you will, too.
It has snowed over seven inches here today. Of course, nothing keeps my husband from going to work. Once again, I smiled and waved goodbye to him from our living room window. There really is something in a man's mentality that says they can conquer anything in a vehicle!

I hope everyone stays warm and has a great week! Talk to y'all soon!

  1. First of all, that is one lovely picture! Secondly, I didn't watch a minute of the Super Bowl. I don't get football, and I've never cared about the commercials.

Third, and most important, yay for getting 20,000! I'm sure you can finish this week. If TEB doesn't pick up the sweet one, I have faith that someone will. Got Mistletoe? was sweet, cute, and enjoyable. I know there's a market for your writing.

We may get snow tonight. I. hate. snow. It is screwing up my teaching and Boards schedule. I should have been born somewhere warm!

Hope you're having a great evening!

  2. That picture is HOT

That's okay, Eyre, I love football and don't get hockey. To each his or her own, lol.

    It's supposed to rain here.

Go you as Shayne would say for getting so much done! Woo hoo!

  3. Thank you for your support and the pat on the back, Eyre and Shawn:) That means a lot coming from both of you. I appreciate your friendship and neverending support and encouragement, it keeps me going, even when I start doubting myself.
    Thank you.
Merrick and Samuel are definitely coming along. They're about to finally get it on! Whew! I think both of them were starting to think it would never happen! Hee Hee!
I LOVE THAT PICTURE TOO! So very sexy and very inspiring.
Y'all have a great night. Get well, Shawn:)

  4. Love the HOT pic!

I'm glad your family weekend was great. I'm looking forward to flying to Miami in early March to visit my Sister.

Congrats on the 20,000 words and keep up the good work. I'm sure it'll be a great book. As for the Sweet One I'm sure it will be picked up by someone real soon. I'm looking forward to reading it.

    Keep warm!

  5. Wow - that picture is...HOT! Love it, especially the way the one guy is grabbing the other's butt. :) And what he's doing to the other guy's nipple isn't too bad, either. LOL

Congrats for getting so much written on Merrick and Samuel!

Waiting to hear back on a submission sucks!!! I hate waiting, and a watched inbox never populates itself with the email you're waiting for.

It's supposed to snow quite a bit here tomorrow. ugh. I shouldn't complain - we've had a light winter so far - but 6-10 inches of snow is never fun. Looks pretty, but no fun to deal with.

  6. FABULOUS picture, Shell Bell! GO YOU for getting so much done on your book! I know Jack and I are dying to read it. Merrick and that sexy hair will be a favorite of mine I bet!
Don't worry about Sweet One. It will be published. If TEB isn't smart enough to take it, you're better off somewhere else.
Have fun playing in the snow.
I personally think Snow kinda sucks, but maybe it's just me. LOL!
