Happy Mother's Day!

Here is a picture of my mother. It was taken her senior year of high school, and it's one of my favorite pictures of her. My mother had me when she was nineteen, so we practically grew up together. Even though forty-three years have gone by since this was taken, when I envision her in my mind, this is how she looks to me. She'll always be beautiful on the inside and out, and have a young-at-heart attitude and loving spirit. I've always considered myself lucky to be blessed with such an understanding, supportive and all-around amazing mother. I love you, Momma.
