Happy Birthday to My Beautiful Grandmother
Today is my grandmother's 84th birthday. We were all going to go to her house to celebrate, but since she's been feeling under the weather it was postponed until next Sunday. Here is a recent picture of her with my mother and Snow White. I really hate not seeing her today, but hopefully she'll be feeling good enough for her belated birthday celebration next weekend.
Not a lot going on right now. I'm trying to keep caught on some things and I'm continuing to write on my Christmas stories.
I hope everyone has a great week ahead:)

Busy week behind me...better week ahead
My father-in-law just celebrated his birthday. This was another long road trip, but at least it was a good one. We enjoyed spending some time with his parents and time seemed to fly by while we were all with each other.
I've just finished the final edits to A Hold on His Heart. It will be released some time in September and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of cover it's going to have. As usual, I'm both a little nervous and excited about it being released. It's strictly a pick-me-up story between two men who are very different from one another. After writing Angel's Redemption, I decided to lighten things up a little. Now I'm back to normal and really pushing myself to write more angst, but we'll see.
My grandmother is going to turn 84 on Sunday. Originally, we all planned to meet at her house and just have a day of spending some fun and quality time together. Unfortunately, she's not feeling well, so we had to postpone it for the next week. This past year has been very hard on her. She's practically blind, and her heart has been giving her a lot of trouble. She also suffers greatly from the gout, which is very painful and keeps her from doing many things she's always loved to do. She went to the doctor a couple of days ago and was told she's very anemic. They're going to give her some sort of 'blood' shot and also make her take high doses of Iron. To say that I worry about her is an understatement. Many of you know how much she means to me, and between her age and constant health issues, I lose a lot of sleep. But on the bright side, my grandmother is one of the strongest women I know. She's been through a lot of hard times and heart ache in her life and has always worked through it and come out stronger and a better person because of it, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that these health issues can be resolved and she'll be on the road to a speedy recovery.
Above are two pictures of her when she was a young woman...wasn't she a gorgeous? In my eyes, she still is and always will be as beautiful on the inside as she is on the out.
I hope everyone has a great week:)

Happy Sunday!
I'm glad to see that everyone survived Friday the 13th! I hope everyone has had a good weekend so far. I've been working hard on two Christmas stories I hope to submit by the end of the month. Other than that, there's not much going on. I'm happy to announce that as of right now, Angel's Redemption is still number six on Silver Publishing's bestseller list! I don't know for how much longer it'll be there, but I'm still excited about it and very thrilled that there seems to be many people who are liking it and loving Jackson and Elijah.
I thought I would share my latest picture of Snow White. Her family took her to Texas last week where she enjoyed her first Texas Ranger game and knowing her mother, LOTS of shopping! As you can see, my niece is a girly girl, by the pink cowboy hat with the bling bling hanging from it!
Have a great Sunday!

Happy Friday the 13th!
Happy Friday the 13th! I hope everyone has a great day today. I'll be writing and watching 'Can you survive a scary movie?' on Chiller tonight and eating too much popcorn. Are y'all doing anything special? Have a great weekend!

I Wanna Be With U
We had so much fun with her, and when she left the house became quiet, and it was strange for her Uncle and I to get back into our routine. We loved keeping her, and her Mama has promised to let us do it again before she goes to kindergarten this fall.
One thing about Snow White is: she loves to sing! I thought I would share the song that is currently her favorite. It's 'I Wanna Be With U' by the Fun Factory. If we heard it once, we heard it a hundred times, but now I can't seem to get it out of my head. It must be because I miss her.
I'll be busy this week editing my upcoming release A Hold on His Heart and working on my Christmas stories this year. I'm also thrilled that my new release, Angel's Redemption, is currently number seven on Silver Publishing's new release top ten list. Who knows for how long, but I'm still thrilled anyway:)
