Happy Weekend!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

It's amazing that sometimes there are times when nothing is going on in my life. I'll go through days where I don't hear from anyone and I'm pretty much just going with the flow. This hasn't been true for me for weeks now.

I haven't had a quiet moment since the New Year.

Since my last post, Kelli, who has been one of my best friends for over thirty years, mother passed away. That makes two deaths of friends and family this year already. She was a wonderful woman whom I loved dearly. She had Kelli late in life (she was almost fifty when Kelli was born) and she thoroughly loved raising Kelli in her mature years. I loved spending the night with Kelli and hanging out with her mother. We had many sweet and fun moments together.

A few days after the funeral, we had a massive snowfall. It's not fun being stuck somewhere you don't want to be!

I finally return home and my loving husband is sick. He's been ill for the past few days and has missed work. This is a rare for him. He's one of those people who rarely calls in sick, so if he wants to stay home because he feels bad, then he's very sick. Since it's going into his chest, we've got him an appointment to see his doctor this morning. I hope he'll be able to get on antibotics and will feel better soon.

I plan on getting caught up on my writing, blogging and emails this weekend. Lets hope that things slow down a little. I need a break!

My goal is to finish book one of my new Sons of Aphrodite series, No Greater Love by next Tuesday.

I hope y'all have a great weekend:)

Wish me Luck!

    I really appreciate it

The doctor told us he has the flu and strep throat. I'm ready for him to be well and things to start slowing down!
