I'll be back

I don't know if you've heard, but Arkansas has been hit by tornados two days in a row. It hit the East End community twice and has destroyed a church, homes and taken lives. I grew up and spent half of my life in that community.
My mother still lives there, and was lucky enough to escape the tornados path. Twice.
I'm going to away for a few days because I'm going to my mother's house to spend some time with her and see if there is anything I can do in my old community and to be perfectly honest, to hug my mother's neck.
I really need to write, but right now I need to see my mother more.
This could have ended up a lot differently.
Thank God it didn't!

I'll probably be away for several days. I'll let you know when I'm back.

Y'all have a great week.

  2. I don't blame you for wanting lots of mom's hugs now. I would too. Enjoy them!

My prayers go out to all those that were affected in the community.

  5. ((hugs)) It's so good to hear your mom is safe. Give her a big hug, and don't worry about your guys - they can wait until you get back home.
