Let it Snow?

It's been snowing here and unfortunately the snow has turned to ice. This will keep us from getting out, but luckily we have electricity and internet.

Due to blogger's new picture policy, I'm contemplating moving my blog to wordpress. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. Either way, I'm definitely going to let y'all know.

I'm going to work on a WIP this week. As the week progresses and as I get into it I'll give you guys more information. I'm going to do my best to work through this writer's block and get some work done!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and week ahead.

Brrr!!

Like most of the U.S. we have been hit by some very nasty weather. We've had sleet, snow and freezing rain and temperatures well below freezing. Since we live three miles down a dirt road, our road is very slippery. To make matters worse, we lose electricity at the drop of a hat. It's been blinking on and off, so we try to be prepared by keeping our generator handy, as well as plenty of kerosene for our heater.  Our animals hate the cold, and they'd been couped up inside, miserable and probably wishing for warmer weather. Oddly, the cold doesn't bother me as much. Since I HATE hot weather, I refuse to complain too much about it. I know it won't be long and we'll be enduring 105 plus degrees outside. Now that is something I do not look forward too.

I've been working on my current WIP and it's still coming along quite nicely. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with Got Mistletoe? but I'll figure it out eventually.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Happy Thursday!!

Happy Thursday!

I had a good couple of days with my husband. He works weekends and  a lot of overtime, so the moments we spend together are precious to me.  We are both getting over the flu and we still have the cough from hell, but we're better. Last night, we rented movies and spent the majority of it watching them, which was really nice.

I'm going to finish one of my WIP's before the month is over. I'm pretty excited over finally taking the time and finishing it, but it's been on my mind heavily these past few days and it's time to finish their story. I'll have more about it at the end of the week...promise.

Have a great day, everyone!! *HUGS*

Happy Thursday!

We've had a busy few days. We've finally finished all of the painting we're going to do, now we're in the middle of getting the house back in order. It's taking longer than normal because I've been fighting the pain I have from a past surgery. It has a tendency to get me down if I overdo it, so I've had to take it easy for the past day or so. But, on the bright side, I love the way our house is starting to look. Everything is fresh, crisp and clean and almost like new. I'm glad we made the decision to paint and spruce up the place a little. I think we definitely needed it.

For the next few days I'll be working on my edits for my upcoming release from Siren AND I'll be hopefully come close to finishing another book by the end of the week. I'll definitely keep you posted.

Have a great day:)

Burrito and Cheese Dip

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Mine was pretty quiet. We celebrated early because my husband had to work, so on the actual holiday, I was home alone.  I ate a warmed up burrito and cheese dip. Even though I had eaten all of the typical Thanksgiving food a few days before, it was  weird for me, because it just felt WRONG!  I kept envying those of you who ate turkey and dressing, so needless to say, the burrito wasn't that satisfying. LOL! At least I did buy a frozen pie that I warmed up for dessert.  *Grins*  Actually it ended up being a pretty productive day. I wrote a lot and had about five different ideas for future books, so all in all it was a good day.

I hope my current WIP, Daddies Little Girl, will be finished within the next week or two. I'm sorry I haven't been around as much this month, the holidays are truly a crazy time for us all. I hope every one has a great day:)
